Hot School Meals

Our catering staff work hard every day to make amazing meals for our pupils.  Our tasty, freshly cooked, nutritious dishes help your children flourish and reach their potential. As part of a balanced diet, our lunches provide a third of a child’s daily calorie intake, to aid concentration levels and give them energy to focus and to play.

We operate on a three-week rolling menu – the full menu is available here for your information.  Meals are free to all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, and to those eligible for free school meals.  All other meals cost £2.80 per day. We also have an option of jacket potato everyday and the children all get to help themselves to a Harvester style salad cart, bread and a choice of pudding.

Ordering meals is done through our WisePay system (more information on WisePay is available on this page).  Parents and carers can log on to their WisePay account and choose the meals their child would like. Orders must be submitted by Midnight on the Tuesday before the week of meals starts.  Meals can be ordered week to week or for the entire half term – whatever suits you best!

Once chosen, the parent/carer should ensure they click the “Pay Now” button – even if the child receives free meals.  A confirmation email will come through from WisePay – if this is not received then the order may not have gone through.  With any problems related to ordering meals, please ring the school office.

The catering team are also able to cater for children with dietary constraints and allergies – please speak to the school office for more information on this.
