Our P.E days are on Wednesday and Friday.

Homework:

In year 5, children are expected to complete both spelling and maths homework. This is set for the children on their Purple Mash accounts. This is set for Wednesday and should be completed by the following Monday.

Alongside this, our school's expectations for the children are:

In Year 5, we love to explore our learning in lots of interactive learning. Keep an eye on this space for updates and photos!

Typography Art

We have spent the afternoon being map work artists! Using rice to create the shape of our maps, we then carefully traced the shape of the rice and added details to create our own fantasy maps! 🏴‍☠️🖌️📍⚓️

Year 5 Roman Day

We’ve had a wonderful day exploring all things Roman - this included preparing for battle, a Roman banquet, lots of building shields and even being renamed a Roman name for the day. Thanks for taking part, everyone looked amazing! 🏛️⚔️🛡️

Year 5 Residential Trip to the Purbecks

Year 5 recently took part in their first residential trip, visiting Land and Wave in the Purbecks. Activities included team building, making s'mores, singing camp songs by the fire, crabbing at Swanage Beach and camping in a tent overnight with friends. Memories were made, sleep was lost and personal challenges were overcome! 💪🏼⛺ 💤
