Yesterday afternoon a small group of children, the youngest and the oldest children from our school, went to Pine Martin Grange Care Home on the old school site. They took some pictures, writing and photos all about the school, Sandford and Wareham with them to deposit into a time capsule.
The capsule was lowered into the hole very carefully.
Then covered it with soil.
The plan is that the capsule will remain in place for 100 years before being dug up again. So remember to tell your family all about your contribution so that in years to come they can say ‘I know someone who drew a picture inside the capsule’
