School Closure Fri 18th Feb – Storm Eunice

  February 17, 2022

Dear Parents/Carers, Dorset Council has just informed us that, following their meetings today and in view of the forecast weather, they are advising all schools to close tomorrow. The amber weather warning has been escalated to a red warning (including winds locally of 90mph) where national advice is for all persons to stay at home in affected areas. Due to these adverse weather conditions that are going to hit Dorset, Sandford St Martin’s CE VA Primary School will be closed to children and staff tomorrow; Friday 18th Feb 2022. This is to ensure the safety of all children, staff and parents. Please do keep your eye on local weather news, follow the advice and stay safely indoors. Teachers will be setting home learning activities on Class Dojo to include English, Maths, Topic/Science and something ACTIVE indoors. I wish you a happy half term. With my best wishes Paul Beveridge Headteacher
