Oak
In Oak Class, we always try to make the most of any spare time by fitting in a GoNoodle or a Just Dance session. These activities are a brilliant way to stay active while having lots of fun together.

We also love learning in RE, where we have the opportunity to explore a range of different world views and beliefs. These lessons help us to understand that we live in a diverse world where people may think, believe, and live differently—and that this is okay. RE encourages respect, open-mindedness, and thoughtful discussion.
In Year 6, we are very lucky to enjoy a wide range of exciting trips and experiences throughout the year, which really enrich our learning. So far, we have visited Nothe Fort, where we dressed up as World War II evacuees and learned about life during the war in a fun and memorable way. We also had the opportunity to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which was a fantastic experience and helped bring our learning to life.
As we look ahead, we are especially excited to celebrate the end of our SATs with some well-deserved rewards, including Fun Fridays. We are also looking forward to a trip to Paultons Park, sailing sessions, and a residential trip packed full of activities that will challenge us, build our confidence, and create lasting memories.
We particularly enjoy learning through practical, hands-on activities, as these help us to explore ideas in an engaging and meaningful way. In science, we have been studying shadows by carrying out investigations using different light sources and objects, allowing us to observe how shadows are formed and how they change. This practical approach makes our learning exciting and memorable.
