SRP Communication and Interaction Needs

Welcome to Silver Birch

Silver Birch is our specialist resource provision (SRP) for children with Communication and Interaction Needs. 

We opened in September 2025 and offer space for up to 14 children with EHCPs whose primary need is Communication and Interaction (normally with an ASD diagnosis). All children will be registered to and spend at least 50% of their time in a mainstream class.  They will access Silver Birch for specialist intervention, therapeutic sessions and a safe and sensory-friendly space for regulation.

Our lovely space was designed by Therapeutic Classrooms with relationships, safety and regulation in mind. 

We also have a sensory room with soft, den building furniture and an interactive OMi projector
