Swim For Charity news

This morning we were delighted to welcome Mr Appleton and Mr Lench from Wareham Lions who came into our school assembly to celebrate the fantastic support and citizenship of all 80+ of our pupils who were involved in the ‘Swim for Charity’ event at Purbeck Leisure centre.
Every child who was involved in the swim was asked to stand up so that we could see just how many of our fantastic young people took part.
Our assembly theme this term is ‘Generosity’ which fitted perfectly with Colin and Tim’s message about all the good work that was going to be possible with the money raised by the children in our school. Collectively, we believe that our children have raised just over £2,000, which is amazing support and really shows the caring and kind natures of our children (along with their generous supporters!)
We will be presented with our portion of the money raised in January and will share with you all how we intend to use the funds to benefit all of the children in our school. Top bombing!! (Although of course, bombing is not allowed, along with running or petting… remember that old school sign? Nostalgia!)
