Friday 16th November it is Children in Need day, to celebrate this and also to raise money for this amazing charity the school Council have planned lots of fantastic, fundraising ideas. We will be holding a guess the number of sweets in the jar competition at 50p per go where the prize for the closest guess will be the jar of sweets! We will also be holding a guess the name of the bear and the prize for the correct guess will be the teddy bear itself, again this will be 50p per go if your child wants to take part. The last fundraising event is an opportunity to get rid of any loose change, the idea is that the children can add their 1ps, 2ps, 5ps 10ps etc. to our bear outlines to create a money bear with all the money from all of these activities going to Children in Need. The key stage 2 school councillors will come around to each class every afternoon next week, so that all children get a chance to take part if they want to and as many times as they want to!
The final event we have planned is a dress up day on Friday 16th November where for a donation of £1 or more your child can come dressed in spotty, colourful or Pudsey themed clothes.
Thank you!
