Following the Harvest Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, six children from our school were chosen to support the church team distributing harvest gifts to members of our community. The children enjoyed walking around the local community (despite the rain!)
and were really pleased to share the gifts that had been given so generously. We already know our children are wonderful but we were very proud to receive these kind words from Rev Jackie,
“We were delighted and a little overwhelmed at just how much the children had brought in for Harvest. They were very generous in their giving and those who we visited this morning were very appreciative. The cards that the children made were delightful and added that finishing touch to our bags and boxes.
We have of course, come to expect the highest standards of behaviour from our children in Sandford Primary School and once again they behaved with courtesy, respect and friendliness as they distributed the harvest gifts to our friends and neighbours.
Please do thank all those who contributed to a wonderful celebration of Harvest.”
Thank you to everyone involved.
