Before the summer holiday, the children in Phase 2 amazed us with their dedication, commitment and hard work. On Tuesday 23rd July, Phase 2 performed Tudor songs, dances and music before ending with a fantastic banquet, including a surprise visit from Jamie Jigsaw the Jester!
After their visit to Portland Castle, the children had a week to learn and perfect the dances, songs and music that they had learnt at Portland Castle. We even had to have a ‘Plan B’ incase the forecasted rain arrived. Fortunately the sun shinned and we had a glorious afternoon. We were so proud of the effort that the children made with their costumes and performances and it was a wonderful way to end the Summer Term. It was fantastic to see their faces when Jamie Jigsaw arrived and also how much they enjoyed feasting on the food and drink.
We would also like to take the opportunity to thank everybody that helped make this afternoon so successful. Without the help from parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles and the list could go on, this afternoon would not have been so wonderful. Thank you!
