What about school uniform? From Monday 7th September-Oct half term… (Notice B)

Our school uniform expectations from Monday 7th September to Oct half term are more relaxed. This is to allow and take into consideration

  • reduced opportunities for parents to order/buy correctly sized uniform during lockdown
  • our increased expectation and encouragement for children to wear freshly washed, clean clothes daily
  • reduced office staff capacity to process orders between March and August
  • parents waiting to see what happens with governmental plans regarding school reopening in the Autumn term

Where school uniform is available at home and is smart, of the correct size and correct colour it should be worn (inc school shoes).

Where school uniform is unavailable children can wear casual (plain) clothes and trainers.

Once PE/Forest school days are advertised it is likely we will request that children wear ‘sports/activity’ appropriate clothing all day. This will negate the need for changing (which puts pressure on small spaces, staff supervision and social distancing)
