We must insist that children limit the amount of equipment they bring into school each day to essentials only.

They may bring in a (named) water bottle, (named) lunch box, (named) hat, (named) coat, (school allocated) reading book and for Yr 5/6 who walk home; a mobile phone (which will be handed in to their teacher for safe keeping each day). Small school bags are allowed but we stress that these must be as small as possible.  This does mean NO pencil cases or toys in class unless by prior arrangement. Children may keep colouring pens and colouring pencils in their school bag but these will only be used occasionally by permission of their teacher.

Frequently used equipment such as pens and pencils will not be shared. Shared equipment will be cleaned or left to stand between users.

Hot school meals will be available as usual, ordered through wisepay by midnight on Thursday for the following week. We are running a simplified menu with our HC3S catering team to support meals being eaten in classrooms rather than the hall. This is help maintain hygiene, ‘bubbles’ and reduce queuing/use of shared spaces/unnecessary movement between rooms. This will be kept under review.
