A fantastic well done to everyone in Phase 3 for four amazing performances of Oliver! The children gave very rousing performances of all the songs and dances in the show and really impressed their audiences on every occasion! The hard work throughout the half term really paid off and I am sure that all who watched the performance would agree that the acting and singing was worthy of any west end stage! Thank you very much to everybody who came along to watch and for all your contributions towards the cost of putting on such a big show. Phase 3, we are so proud of you!

I just wanted to take a few minutes to say ‘thank you’ to the school, and Mrs Symons and Phase 3 staff in particular for the wonderful performances of Oliver last week. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the three performances, and was hugely impressed by the children. The staff clearly worked very hard to ensure the scripts and songs were learnt perfectly, and it was brilliant that the children were given such a fantastic opportunity. In addition, the children seemed to enjoy the experience immensely, and were rightly proud of their achievement.

I am only sorry that there will be no DVD made available of the performance, as it would have been an ideal gift for family members (grandparents etc) who were unable to attend, as in Bethan’s case, as all our family live many miles away.

Finally I would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to the Phase 3 staff for casting Bethan as Nancy as she valued the experience greatly, and I was delighted that her efforts were officially recognised when she was awarded the ‘Learner of the week’ last Friday.

Well done to everyone- it was amazing!
