Wareham Town Band Concert

Last Thursday evening we were delighted to welcome the players of the Wareham Town Band into school to share an evening of music, marching and merriment.  We sang songs that the children have been learning in school, we were treated to musical renditions by the flutes, the guitars, the clarinets, the drums and the pianos, and the children marched around the hall in time to some well known marching music.

The Governors of the school did a small ‘fun performance’ of Do, Ray, Me and everyone joined in magnificently.  Our grateful thanks go to the Wareham Town Band, to all those parents and members of the community who came along to support, and of course to the children whose talents were shared.  Another great community evening to celebrate!
