Our new Collective Worship theme this half term is Creativity. We have been thinking about God as a Creator and reflecting on ways that we also can be creative each day. In our Collective Worship we have been enjoying the challenge of creating with lego, felt tip pens, play dough and pipe cleaners, Jackie Maw even challenged a group of volunteers to work together to create the tallest tower they could using only their shoes! Hilary Bond shared a thought provoking example of how creativity can be used to help others, have a look at ‘Landfill Harmonic‘ on you tube to learn more.

We have added a resource called ‘Home-School Values’ to our website. You can access this using the drop down menu, ‘Our School’ on our home page. This is a resource that you can use to explore this value further at home with your child. There are ideas to talk about, read about and think about. Our home-school challenge this half term is for each child to choose what they think are the seven wonders of creation. They can write about them, draw pictures or include photos. Children are welcome to bring their top seven choices into school to discuss with their class and decide together the most amazing seven!
