During ‘Where is Matt?’ week one of the activities the children took part in was a game called Moral. This was based on a traditional game from Trinidad and Tobago.  The children had throw a ball in the air and clap up to 5 times before catching it again. The first team to get their whole team to get to box 5 was the winner. This was clearly a tricky task for some and so children were encouraged to work collaboratively as a team to support each other to achieve this. At the beginning of the session children weren’t aware of the power that working together and encouraging their team mates.  However, by the end of the session everyone was working beautifully as a team and it was brilliant to see the older children supporting and encouraging the younger  children. Through the reflections after the session every group could see how their team got better each time they played.
